Shree Seti Devi School

The school is now fully operational following the official opening on August 31st 2016
The foundations have been laid and we should start to see fast progress now, hopefully completion in the next 3 months – May 2016
Shree Seti Devi Secondary School has 124 students and 12 teachers (8 government and 4 from donations) and is situated in the Sindpalchowk area which was one of the most devastated regions in earthquake. 11 of the 14 classrooms and all 5 toilets were totally destroyed and the children are currently being taught in makeshift tents and tarpaulins which were provided by Clean Energy and Foundation China. 250,000 Rupees ($2400) was provided by the Nepalese government to clear the debris. Pasang Lhamu Mountaineering Foundation is proposing to build a new 7 classrooms and a new toilet block at an estimated cost of $25,000 (£16,000).
